About 5–6 hours through the UP and into Wisconsin — though if history is any indication, we'll make it in less. Good beverages loaded, good music on, and the UP doing what the UP does. Windows down when it warms up enough to earn it.

Winery and dinner are on the agenda tonight. Door County has 19 of them along the Wine Trail — Jill and Jill will not be wasting a single hour of it. The guys will follow along happily and pretend this was their idea. Then find a great spot for dinner and let the evening go wherever it goes.

Start the day with breakfast at The Blacksmith Inn, then take a walk on the beach. No tee time until 1:00 — Door County in May doesn't get much better than this.

Carved from the cherry and apple orchards that define this part of Door County. Wide fairways, subtle elevation changes, stunning in spring. The kind of course that makes you want to book the return trip before you finish the back nine.

Everyone heads their own direction. Some back north to Marquette, one bound for Indianapolis, one off to Las Vegas. Different roads, same great weekend. Someone will be replaying every shot. Someone else will already be planning the next trip.
